Kaiser Permanente offers an Enhanced Direct Enrollment (EDE) experience in partnership with HealthSherpa to help you enroll and renew KPIF On-Exchange clients in Hawaii with ease!

Kaiser Permanente’s EDE site can help you quickly and easily:

  • Run a quote
  • Submit applications
  • Renew/update plans for clients enrolled on HealthCare.gov
  • Manage your book of business
  • And more!
     

You may also visit HealthCare.gov to submit your client’s On-Exchange application.

Access the KP Enhanced Direct Enrollment site

Access to the Kaiser Permanente EDE site is easy and convenient! Simply sign in to your broker account on account.kp.org and click the "Access KP EDE Account" link on the homepage.

If you have not yet registered for a broker account on account.kp.org, simply click on "Register for an account". Please note, you must be appointed with KP in Hawaii to register for an account.

Get quotes and apply for Off-Exchange coverage

Use the Sign Me Up (SMU) tool (kp.org/applyonline) to submit your client’s Off-Exchange application.

  • First-time users register here for a broker account.
  • Sign in under your broker account, and from your dashboard you can create a new quote, create a personalized landing page (PURL) to send to your client to start the online application, or download a paper application if your client prefers to complete the application that way.
  • By logging in to your dashboard and starting the application this way, your Kaiser Permanente agent number is automatically tied to the application, and you are set up as the broker of record.
  • The Sign Me Up (SMU) tool allows you to track your client’s application status for Off-Exchange applications submitted through the site, giving you more visibility into the process.
  • If your client prefers to complete a paper application, you can fax or mail it to the address on the application.
